DRAKE HAS BEEN splashing out to make life a little bit nicer for the people of Miami all week.
First, he visited Miami Senior High School to shoot a music video for his song ‘God’s Plan’ and performed for the students. After performing, he provided the school with a cheque for €20,000 to buy all of the students new uniforms, which he designed himself.
Then he stopped by the University of Miami, to surprise a student with a €40,000 scholarship.
The young woman, Destiny James, had no idea Drake was coming. She had submitted applications for scholarships last year and had successfully received them. The university was so impressed with the applications that they were handed around other departments.
Destiny was told that she was invited to give a talk about her background, the obstacles she faced in life and how she overcame them in order to encourage scholarship donors to continue to donate. Little did she know, University of Miami lied, and they just wanted to surprise her with a scholarship from Drake.
It’s impossible to not be delighted for her.

Drake then headed to Sabor Tropical supermarket in Miami and was just as generous.
A customer told E! News that Drake “helped people find what they were looking for and encouraged all to buy everything they want and to fill their carts.” He also took the time to stop for plenty of selfies.
How wholesome.
